About Ronna Milo Haglili:
I am delighted to be part of the BACA team, bringing a wealth of experience in supporting children, teens, and their caregivers. My background includes work in diverse settings such as Kaiser Permanente’s outpatient and intensive outpatient departments, community mental health centers, and schools. My expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, parenting challenges, child development, eating disorders, trauma, loss, emotion regulation, self-harm, and immigration-related concerns.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in culturally sensitive psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory, profoundly influenced by relational and Lacanian thought. I utilize a client-centered framework, integrating various evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, MBT, and FBT. Beyond clinical practice, I have a strong interest in scientific inquiry, having published my doctoral dissertation research on the connections between trauma and activism.
I view therapy as a unique space for individuals to cultivate new experiences and explore the contexts that either facilitate or impede desired change. By listening deeply and empathetically, I strive to create a safe environment where children and families can feel, think, connect, heal, and grow. As a multicultural and bilingual therapist, fluent in both English and Hebrew, I bring a keen understanding of culture, intersecting identities, and life transitions. My doctoral training specifically focused on working with immigrant and refugee populations, and my own life transitions inform my ability to support others navigating planned or forced changes. In my free time, I enjoy a balanced mix of relaxation with family and friends, reading, and engaging in outdoor or active pursuits.
