About Shabana Gupta:
Hello! I’m Shabana Gupta, a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology from Alliant University. Before joining BACA, I was part of the California Warmline practicing telehealth, working in community mental health with La Concordia, and working with high school students and unhoused individuals with ADEii.
My main clinical interests include exploring how people interact with systems and power differentials within their daily lives. I have a strong social justice orientation and work through a trauma infrared lens. My goal for my clients is for them to develop self-compassion and hold space for their own exploration of themself and their minds.
Outside of therapeutic work, I enjoy working on arts projects, reading fiction, and hanging out with friends.
