I am excited to be a part of the BACA clinical team. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and provide counseling support to children, teens, and families. As a psychotherapist, I am licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (MFC#53906). I received my Bachelors from San Jose State University and have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.

Prior to joining BACA I practiced at Chamberlain’s Mental Health Services where I worked with children ages 3-18 and their families in the outpatient and day treatment intensive programs. I worked closely with children and families who have experienced trauma or have serious emotional and behavioral difficulties.

My approach to therapy is informed by evidence based practices and is tailored to each individual’s needs and strengths. I employ many different techniques from art and play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative and attachment based approaches. As a therapist, I believe it is my role to provide a space for people to share about their most difficult thoughts, feelings, and conflicts and within that caring space collaborate toward healing.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, yoga, and hiking.
