I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships with the individuals and families I serve and tailoring my therapy interventions to meet their unique needs.
I am passionate about helping people who have experienced a wide range of distressing life events and assisting them in healing from these experiences so they can live meaningful and fulfilling lives. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults who have experienced anxiety disorders including OCD, mood disorders, trauma, and neurodevelopmental disorders. I also have experience providing community-based services to adults who have experienced severe and persistent mental illness. Based on these experiences, I strongly believe in taking a collaborative approach in therapy to work alongside the individual to improve their quality of life.
I use a variety of interventions in my practice, with a focus on acceptance and commitment therapy to help individuals live satisfying lives in the present moment despite their struggles.
I grew up in San Diego and continue to live there. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my cats, reading at the beach, watching sunsets, and spending time with friends and family.
