I am a rising 4th-year doctoral candidate in my clinical psychology program. I am originally from the Chicagoland area and moved to the Bay Area a few years ago. Grounded in an integrative, multicultural, and feminist theoretical orientation, I am thrilled to join the BACA team.

I am interested in trauma-informed care for youth and serving diverse families and children with acute mental health needs in an integrated healthcare setting in both English and Spanish. My clinical experiences include diagnosing and assessing young children, adolescents, and teens with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences. I have also worked with clients across the lifespan in individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as TF-CBT, DIR Floortime, PCIT, ACT, and psychoanalytic approaches.

Other experiences of mine include serving as a teaching assistant at Palo Alto University for the past two years, as well as publishing articles on topics like school-based suicide prevention, parental investment theory, Positive Parenting Program, bullying, and more.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my friends and family, discovering new restaurants, watching scary movies, and going to concerts. I also enjoy going on adventures with my 5-year-old Yorkie, Toto.

I look forward to integrating my diverse experience and interests to make a positive impact here at BACA!
