I am currently a PsyD graduate student at the University of San Francisco. I grew up in San Jose with immigrant parents, which significantly colors my understanding of mental health. In high school, I was introduced to clinical psychology for the first time and have been pursuing a future supporting and empowering others ever since.
Before coming to BACA, I worked with survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and complex trauma in a community mental health setting. My approach to treatment is greatly informed by the client’s unique sociocultural identity, along with evidence-based practices, including CBT and DBT.
My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, acculturation-related stress, body image, and trauma. In addition to advocating for the Asian American community, I am passionate about serving diverse populations across the lifespan. I look forward to helping individuals and families explore questions around “Who am I?” and “What is our story?”
