I am delighted to be part of the BACA team. Prior to BACA, I have gained experience working with children, teens, and their caregivers at different settings including at Kaiser Permanente outpatient and intensive outpatient departments, community mental health centers, and schools. My expertise is in the areas of depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, parenting, child development, eating disorders, trauma, loss, emotion regulation, self-harm, and immigration.

I am grounded in culturally sensitive psychodynamic/psychoanalytic theory and am deeply influenced by relational and Lacanian thought. Utilizing a client-centered approach, I also integrate diverse treatment modalities, including CBT, ACT, DBT, MBT, and FBT. In addition to clinical practice I am intrigued by scientific inquiry and have published on the topic of my doctoral dissertation research, which explored the links between trauma and activism.

Therapy is a space to form novel experiences while exploring the different contexts that may cultivate or alternatively impede desired change. While listening deeply and empathetically, I strive to make therapy a safe space for children and families to feel, think, connect, heal, and grow. I am multicultural and bilingual and work both in English and Hebrew. I have a keen interest in culture, intersecting identities, as well as life transitions. Among other things, my doctoral training centered on working with immigrant and refugee populations. Also, as I support others to cope with either planned or forced changes and what it may bring about, I am informed by my own life transitions and transformations.

During my free time, I like to chill and spend time with family and friends or read, but I also like to be active or outdoors and I try to find a good balance between these two likings.
