Hello, my name is Sandra Orozco Loza. I am a bilingual Spanish/English speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #93258). I grew up in the Los Angeles area, and moved to the Bay Area for college. I am a proud former University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC) Banana Slug, and obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from San Jose State University (SJSU).
I have always been curious about the way the mind works, and how people can be supported with their mental health. I studied Psychology at UCSC and knew that I wanted to utilize the knowledge I acquired to pursue a career in the mental health field. Since 2010, I have served youth and families receiving mental health treatment. I have worked as a Residential Counselor in a residential treatment program, provided therapy for a nonprofit organization, and social services at the county level. I have also served as a behavioral coach to children, and provided parent training to their families. I truly believe that all families are deserving of the support necessary to achieve their relationship goals.
My hope as a clinician is to support you with reaching your mental health treatment goals. I am ready to develop a meaningful therapeutic relationship to support you in your healing journey. I feel fortunate to work for an organization that values the importance of serving the whole person, including their natural support systems.
