Hello! My name is Rachel, I’m a Bay Area native and I’ve lived in San Jose for the past ten years.
I received my MSW from UC Berkeley, then spent six years as a social worker working with the homeless population as well as those with chronic health problems. I’m happy to now be working with adolescents and young adults with BACA and be working towards my clinical license.
My focus is on Motivational Interviewing and CBT, but I work with each client to figure out what works for them. I believe that treatment should be client centered and should be molded around each client’s unique experience and viewpoint. I am passionate about mental health care and providing the best care possible to my clients.
