I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships with the families I serve and tailoring my therapy interventions to meet their unique needs.

I am passionate about working with clients who have experienced a wide range of distressing life events and helping them heal from these experiences so they can live happier and healthier lives. I have previously worked with children, adolescents, and young adults who have experienced anxiety disorders and OCD, mood disorders, trauma, grief/loss, and inattention/hyperactivity disorders, with the goal of improving the functioning of the client and the family unit. I also have experience providing community-based services to adults who have experienced severe and persistent mental illness. Based on these experiences, I strongly believe in taking a collaborative approach in therapy to improve daily functioning.

I understand the importance of considering socioeconomic factors and the impact these factors may be having on the children and families I serve. I have completed my basic training in EMDR but also use a variety of other interventions in my practice, including exposure and response prevention and acceptance and commitment therapy.

I grew up in San Diego and continue to live there. In my free time, I enjoy taking advantage of the beautiful weather by hiking with my dog, going to the beach, watching sunsets, and spending time with friends and family.
