I was born and raised in Oregon near the Mt. Hood National Forest. My educational background includes a B.A. degree in psychology from the University of Oregon, and a M.A. in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute, where I am currently attending a Psy.d. (doctorate in clinical psychology) program. During my undergraduate years, I conducted an Honors Thesis in the impact and motivations behind putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes. During that time, I also interned at NYU and Columbia University researching emerging clinical interventions.

After I graduated from University of Oregon, I worked in a therapeutic alternative sentencing program for adjudicated youth, and as a skills trainer for teens in foster care. These experiences allowed me to witness the potential for healing even amidst continued challenges. During my graduate training, I have completed doctoral practicums working as a therapist in a community-based recovery clinic for young adults and at a local public middle school.

Outside of my career I enjoy spending time outside, going to concerts and reading with my cat. I am excited to be a part of BACA’s dedicated team, where I can collaborate with clients and families, to support growth and healing.
