I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has dedicated my academic and professional background to supporting children, youth, and families in their efforts to thrive through life’s adversities. I pursued my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Child and Adolescent Development at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I worked within and around the education system for various non-profits and public institutions before obtaining my master’s degree in Counseling at Palo Alto University.

I am attuned to the unique circumstances and needs of multicultural families, particularly those who identify with BIPOC, immigrants, and marginalized communities. I believe navigating issues across differing cultures, perspectives, and generations requires respectful curiosity, openness, empathy, and compassion. I strive to embody and promote these qualities while seeking to learn from those around me.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy that focuses on helping clients and their families find and amplify their voices so they feel heard and seen. I may borrow techniques and concepts from other therapeutic modalities, but I resonate best with Narrative Therapy, which promotes personal growth and healing through the exploration and rewriting of the stories that we tell ourselves. I am deeply interested in the mind-body connection and enjoy exploring different methods to find what works best for my clients.
