I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School with a strong interest in both mental health and general pediatrics. I completed a general pediatrics residency at University of California, San Diego and became board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2020. In 2021 I became a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).

After my training in pediatrics I completed my adult psychiatry residency at LAC+USC medical center in Los Angeles while also working as a general pediatrician to Kaiser Permanente. I am currently completing my child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at UCSF.

When caring for children and their families, I combine my knowledge of pediatrics and psychiatry to fully understand not only the child’s presenting issue, but their current stage of development, social situation and the overall family system. Through understanding all of these perspectives I can formulate a plan to best serve the child.

I have been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as medication management. However, my extensive training has taught me that beyond any modality, a doctor’s dedication to their patient is what makes the greatest impact.
