About Zachary Andriella:

Hi! I’m Zach and I’m currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology specializing in community mental health. I received my BS in Clinical Psychology from UC Santa Cruz — and MS in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. Prior to BACA, I completed practicum training at Eden Counseling Services and the clinics @ PAU.

My main clinical interests include providing culturally-informed care to underserved populations as well as working with young adults, couples, and families. I primarily operate under a psychodynamic-oriented framework, and I also pull from other modalities including CBT, DBT, and Gottman Theory. Generally speaking, I believe that the therapeutic process should be catered to each client’s unique needs and life experience.

Outside of clinical work, I enjoy being active and playing sports with my friends (primarily basketball and disc golf) as well as playing card games like Magic: The Gathering.
