I am currently a PsyD graduate student at the University of San Francisco. I grew up in San Jose with immigrant parents, which significantly colors my understanding of mental health.
Before coming to BACA, I worked with survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and complex trauma in a community mental health setting. I also have experience supporting and empowering children, adolescents, and young adults in outpatient settings. Along with evidence-based practices, my approach to treatment is greatly informed by the client’s unique sociocultural identity and goals.
My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, acculturation-related stress, body image, grief, and trauma. In addition to advocating for the Asian American community, I am passionate about serving diverse populations across the lifespan. I look forward to helping individuals and their families explore questions around “Who am I?” and “What is our story?”
