I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an interactive and strengths-based approach to counseling. I believe that my clients come with many inherent resources. But we all get stuck sometimes and, as a therapist, I hope to provide a non-judgemental space for them to clarify goals, get insights, and process life challenges.
I spent over a decade as an instructional designer at Apple, Sun, and other companies in Silicon Valley before becoming a therapist. Prior to joining BACA, I worked as a therapist in the Campbell Union School District. I supported children who experienced anxiety, anger, loss, and other challenges that made it difficult for them to succeed academically and socially.
I also have experience in counseling couples, adult individuals, and gifted/twice-exceptional adolescents. As someone who grew up outside the US, I have some insight into the challenges people face when trying to adapt to or raise a family in a new culture, and I work with families going through various transitions and life stages.
